THE BLACK DAY

I had never seen Peshawar in such a gloomy and dark state ever before,  the air of the Provincial Capital was filled with extreme sadness.  As I travelled back towards my hometown.  The walls seemed to painted with blood.  Blood of 140 school kids in the school massacare at the Army Public School. Killed without any crime. Dressed in school clothes as we all did once. All of us know the happiness and innocence of school life! They were like us. They dressed in colors and never returned.

In The battle of Karbala, Imam Hussain(A. S) was martyred along with his 72 loyal companions but still he and his cause won. The bad can never overcome the good, even if it dominates for a while. Death will seize every living being for sure but death of a Martyr and Coward can never be the same.  Can It??

The governments will do their Job but what has the common-man to do??

First,  Unite and stand clear against the Killers,  not be lured by any propaganda and brainwashing. Terrorism has no religion and Killers are just Killers. Our enemies are smart in trying to provide a religious and emotional cover for their barbarism to affect and influence semi-litterate people!

Next,  boycott and openly oppose all the people and institutions that promote violence hatred and disunity  or Smpathize with these acts in any form.

Do not label members of any religion, clan,  language and area in any way,  this will lead to more hatred.

The spirit of people of Peshawar particularly, and Pakistan overall has been spectacular but it has to stay like this. Show the world we are not a part of these terrorists we do not think like them.  Do not label us with them.

With all these thoughts I entered my home,  greeted by my younger brother and sister and I thought when will my beloved land be safe enough for them and all of us??

" Only those are true warriors who fight for the oppressed and the weak and prefer being cut into pieces in the BATTLEFIELD than retreating like cowards"

Man Rights!

Yes you are not mistaken, the tiltle says what you read.Tons of Ngo's, Newspapers, Organizations and Seminars advocate woman rights to the "greatest " extent, so I thought lets write about the opposite.

Well it may seem stupid if Men start demading for their rights but why not,why all the rights and the whole race of sympathetic terms of the English(and other) languages only reserved for women?

From a local bus stand, to an international airport, from a bank queve to a coaching class!Women are awarded more then their rights that too by the men.

This "COMMODITYISM" is more prevalent on the asian soil. For example  uptil now i have failed to understand any piece of logic behind LADIES FIRST! What for??

The Feminine creed also is overwhelmed and benefits  by some of very unneccesary rules and norms.

And if you still have no idea of what Iam talking about better ask a married man in your neighborhood!

And if you belong to the testosterone class you better carry on your work, because their is nothing and perhaps will ever be anything like man rights!!

Perhaps someday equality is established and commodityism ends.

No Gender bias Intended!!

Comments Welcomed.

Socially Yours!!

Holy Heavens Bless the men behind the idea of Social Networking, you can do anything, and stupidity does not cost money does it!

From "Wow its raining in January"to
"I do not want to live"!! You can utter practically anything here and even be liked for it!

If you can swallow it(which folks like me and you are doing since the facebooking era) there's more:

You need a friend and so you can find and chat anybody accross those seven continents! You found one? She 's adorable, liked a few "awesome"pics, commented like the the greatest thinker, and what next??

You are into a whole-hearted chat blessing the makers of this whole-thing" and deep-down feeling manly satisfaction in your "abilities" to connect- The Dream Goes On!!

My dear lonely friend, before you start thinking of ways to convice your parents... Wait here 's the other side!

Far away from you on the other end there too is a chair, a monitor, a keyboard with fingers chatting on with you..And a person with the same system of Harmones as You!!!

Sorry for interfering with your lovely dreams, but this thing has become a common pass-time for some usually in our part of the world-The Subcontinent.Altough I do not get what exactly they benefit from this whole thing, but it is Happening!

So before your Angelina turns an" "angel",Devika" transforms into "Dev",or "Allia " suddenly is "Ali"

Be Careful, but not to worry, switch off the computer, try a real life relationship.

Optional: You can also curse the makers of Sometimes Unsocial, Social Media and the chatting thing!.

Good Luck!

Imran Khan : The Journey

Today, we pakistanis celebrated our Republic Day, well check out this special post on one of the most incredible rises in recent times.

Pakistan Unfortunately does not have the trend of creating or growing genuine political force, As Leaders come from backdoor channels, military coups, and even "imported", while others are politicians just because their fathers were.

The Parties transformed into "INTEREST GROUPS "  with  people seldom Involved, practically isolated from the country's Political System, with only two examples in the 65 year history one being ZulfiqaarBhutto, and the other most recent  IMRAN KHAN.

Who could have thought that the once world champion Cricket Captain, would one day be a contender for his resource-rich,but badly managed Nation. After 17 years of Struggle he made it possible!

Despite having a good reputation, and integrity it was by no means an easy journey. He was advised to quit politics as it was not his cup of tea.For 15 odd years his party called PAKISTAN TEHRIK E INSAAF (PTI) was not even recognized as a major political force, but all this didnot disappoint Khan and his few Loyal Companions.

Adressing a massive publc meeting at Lahore on 30 October 2011 changed the days, His party came from being nothing to the most popular political group of the nation,he spread his message and grew in influence and Power, city by city throughout the country, through massive public gatherings(a trend completely vanished of Pakistan's Political Culture)what he called Tsunaami.

Imran's greatest success though lies in mobilizing the youth (accounts for more than 60 percent of the population) but having no role in country's political structure, justifying his slogan of Change and Hope too.as he promises.

Apart from massive public gatherings and enthusiastic aproach to politics,he has introduced some better trends in the political scenario,Intra party elections and asset decleration for example.

Keeping aside his numerical strength and following, another factor in his so far successful political campaign is the passion linked with it.and obviously the hope for better Pakistan.

His political struggle and campaign is definitely at its peak and zenith today and if succeeds, would be one of the most incredible political uprising. And with it a much better, safer, Pakistan.

Double Standards

" He was totally unfair to me, when  did it I was smart!

Double Standards is What I call it, yes we the homo sapiens have double standards of dealing we the same thing!

We want freedom but do not allow it!, we adore privacy but ourself are a tool of disturbance in others! We kill animals for fun and then shower millions on campaigns for saving them!

We want our children protected from any harm but when see the same creed of kids begging or maltreated on roads, its their destiny!!

Numerous examples there are, God knows Iam not preaching nor in any mood of it as I also am the part of this crumbled society!

We are funny people! We can go hours and hours criticizing one for misuse of power,or what we call Corruption, But do not miss on a chance we get ourselves to participate in it!We do not mind influencing someone to apply his powers for our benefit it is our sole right to do so isnt it!!

These double Standards are not only limited to this world!!WE have the same set of characters for THE LORD too.

We can pray without heart and have excuses for it, but when our plans do not go good we have to blame the Supreme Deity,he was unfair.

The problem is we have turned fake from the core and do not wish for others what we seek for ourselves!

If Animals did have a better sense of Vocabulary and Gramar,I am sure even they would ridicule our standard of having no standards!

A Sikh of Pakistan

Hi there, you have seen me write articles about diverse topics and different stuff, but this one article is absolutely special.

Once Surfing the inrernet,I found an article "TOP 10 Worst places of the world "and i found the name of Pakistan there and that all inspired me to write this thought.

Unfortunately my nation was described their as a "home of theocratic Extremists, which is obviously easy to believe as this is the global perspective too,but an unpopular truth, this is not the fact.

It is just like judging the moon using a pair of Binoculars!!

I belong to a Sikh family, living in the northwest Pakistan(generally taken to be the hardline part of the country) And living there for centuries,as an unpopular fact we are as safe and prosperous as we could have been anywhere else in the world, In the US, UK or any Sikh Republic if it existed.

We work together, hold business, have representation in the Parliament,Army, and Civil Services,We have fun together, have the best education, discussions and friendships!!

No?? What am I talking about? Am I been payed for this??All we know of this land of 190 Million is that it is a terrorist state, and where the population consists of Hardline mullahs, and where religious freedom is not prevalent, and girls are not allowed free!! Ah then thats what you are told its not near to the facts. We are loved here, respected and even given an advantageous treatment.

Obviously there are problems, from security concerns to widespread corruption but that is just because of incompetent and Bad leadership but their is nothing specific.Have'nt Nations like China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Turkey, and even The US have been through these bad times because of not having able leadership and vision???

Propeganda may earn you some money and quick publicity but facts should be preferred.
