I had never seen Peshawar in such a gloomy and dark state ever before, the air of the Provincial Capital was filled with extreme sadness. As I travelled back towards my hometown. The walls seemed to painted with blood. Blood of 140 school kids in the school massacare at the Army Public School. Killed without any crime. Dressed in school clothes as we all did once. All of us know the happiness and innocence of school life! They were like us. They dressed in colors and never returned.
In The battle of Karbala, Imam Hussain(A. S) was martyred along with his 72 loyal companions but still he and his cause won. The bad can never overcome the good, even if it dominates for a while. Death will seize every living being for sure but death of a Martyr and Coward can never be the same. Can It??
The governments will do their Job but what has the common-man to do??
First, Unite and stand clear against the Killers, not be lured by any propaganda and brainwashing. Terrorism has no religion and Killers are just Killers. Our enemies are smart in trying to provide a religious and emotional cover for their barbarism to affect and influence semi-litterate people!
Next, boycott and openly oppose all the people and institutions that promote violence hatred and disunity or Smpathize with these acts in any form.
Do not label members of any religion, clan, language and area in any way, this will lead to more hatred.
The spirit of people of Peshawar particularly, and Pakistan overall has been spectacular but it has to stay like this. Show the world we are not a part of these terrorists we do not think like them. Do not label us with them.
With all these thoughts I entered my home, greeted by my younger brother and sister and I thought when will my beloved land be safe enough for them and all of us??
